Fy swydd gyntaf oedd mewn ffatri bwyd yn Stoke. Enillais radd pan 'roeddwn yn 24 ac yna gweithio fel athro gyda plant ag anghenion arbennig. Bellach rwy'n gweithio fel ymchwilydd amaethyddol, a mae hynny wedi bod yn gyfle arbennig i ddod i ddeall economi cefn gwlad yr Ynys. Mae fy mhartner a minnau wedi dewis Môn fel ein cartref. Mae gen i dau o blant aeddfed. 'Rwyf wedi gwasanaethu fel llywodraethwr ysgol ers rhai blynyddoedd gyda cyfrifoldeb am Gyllid, Addysg Anghenion Arbennig, ac 'Ysgolion Eco'.

Mae gen i ymroddiad brwd i sicrhau yr addysg orau i'n plant, hyfforddiant a phrentisiaethau. 'Rwyf wedi gweithio ar sawl prosiect cadwraeth bywyd gwyllt ac yn benderfynol i amddiffyn ein bywyd gwyllt. Yr wyf wedi bod yn aelod o'r Mudiad Cydweithredol ar hyd fy oes a nawr yn eistedd ar y Pwyllgor Cenedlaethol. Credaf y dyla llawer mwy o fusnesau ddilyn esiampl y Co-op a Waitrose wrth rannu profit gyda’u staff yn hytrach 'na cyfranddalwyr.

Byddaf yn canolbwyntio ar swyddi, hyfforddi ac addysg er mwyn i bawb ar Môn gredu yna gyfle iddynt mewn bywyd. Fel aelod newydd ar y Cyngor byddaf yn dod â syniadau newydd ac agwedd ffres i'r gwaith.

My first job was in a food factory in Stoke. I gained a degree when I was 24 and then worked as a teacher of children with special needs. Currently I work as an agricultural researcher, which gives me a good understanding of the rural economy on the Island. My partner and I have made our home on Ynys Môn. I have two grown-up children. I have served many years as a school governor taking responsibility for Finance, SEN and “eco-schools”.

I have a passionate commitment to providing our young people with improved education, training and apprenticeships. I have worked on a number of wildlife conservation projects and I’m committed to protecting wildlife. I’ve been involved in the Co-operative movement all my life and sit on a national committee. I think more businesses should follow the example of the Co-op and Waitrose in sharing profits with members and staff instead of shareholders.

I will focus on jobs, training and education so that everyone on Ynys Mon gets a chance in life. As a fresh face on the council I will bring new ideas and a different outlook.
