Rwy'n sefyll fel ymgeisydd Llafur i'r Cyngor Sir.

Cefais fy ngeni a magu yn Belfast cyn dod i'r DU i astudio. Rwyf wedi bod yn byw ym Mhorthaethwy ers blynyddoedd maith bellach. Roeddwn ddysgu yn yr ardal hon am 20 mlynedd. ‘Rwyf wedi bod yn aelod gweithgar o'r gangen undeb leol a nawr rwy'n cynrychioli staff ar Fwrdd Llywodraethwyr Coleg Menai Llandrillo. Yn fy amser hamdden rwy'n mwynhau bod allan ar fy nghwch a stiwardio a barnu Ras Rafft y Fenai.

Mae sicrhau cyfleoedd teg i bawb yn anhygoel o bwysig i mi. Credaf dylai'r Cyngor Sir llawer doethach wrth wario ein harian er mwyn sicrhau gwerth gorau. Mae angen arnom gynghorwyr bydd yn gweithredu ar bopeth mewn yn gwbl agored ac onest. Byddaf yn rhoi’r flaenoriaeth uchaf i Addysg. Byddaf yn cadw golwg manwl iawn ar holl wariant y Cyngor Sir gyda’r bwriad o sicrhau gwerth gorau i arian treth dalwyr.

I am standing as a Labour candidate for the County Council.

I was born and brought up in Belfast and I moved to the UK to study. I am a long-term resident of Menai Bridge and I have taught in this area for 20 years. I have always been an active member of my union branch and sit as a staff representative on the Board of Governors at Llandrillo Menai College. In my leisure time I enjoy being out in a boat and on many occasions I have helped to steward and judge the Great Strait Raft Run.

I am passionate about equality of opportunity for all. I believe the council needs to spend our money wisely so that we get the best value for money. We need councillors who will be honest and open in all their dealings. I will make education standards my top priority.

I will scrutinise the financial dealings of the council carefully and aim to get the best value for money for council tax payers.
