I’m Sam Egelstaff, your Welsh Labour candidate for Ynys Môn in the Senedd election on May 6th. This election could not be more important for Wales. Already the Conservatives are transferring powers back to London. If they win this election, everything that Welsh Labour has achieved will be under threat – our protections for the NHS, our free prescriptions, our apprenticeship programme for young people, our excellent childcare support, our affordable housing programme and our progressive green agenda.

I want to see Ynys Môn recover from the decade of Tory austerity. I will take your voice to the heart of a Welsh Labour Government, influencing the decisions that affect the island. And I will fight for the things that matter to local people – new job opportunities, protection of our environment, support for young people and families, and good availability of GPs and dentists.
